Jeralyn Mohr presents Inner Space
My wearable art uses outer space and anatomical references as visual metaphor to represent the inner space trauma and resilience occupies. I block print mythical characters and imagery I’ve developed onto mostly upcycled clothing, as well as refashion thrifted or cast metals into body jewelry and wearable sculpture.
I’ll be showing a curated version of this narrative fashion in my booth, but my full catalog is via Instagram @artistmn.
Matthew Bakkom presents New International Picture Collection
Based on a deaccessioned print study collection built by the University of Minnesota between 1930 and 1965 that was passed into the hands of the artist, this project is an attempt to connect the public with photographic traces of the past. Join us to review vintage reproductions of “fine art” from well known architectural spaces to paintings and sculptures that were once premiere but now are reduced to elegantly fixed shadows of creative achievement.
All of the prints are available to the public, unframed in an affordable context. Perfect for collectors of all ages. Dig into the bins of “art history.”. Treasures abound based on the value the beholder discovers in their hands.
